Technikmuseum Hugo Junkers
The Technikmuseum „Hugo Junkers“ , located in Dessau is dedicated to the life and work of the famous German Aviation Engineer Hugo Junkers. The Museum is operated by the Förderverein Technikmuseum „Hugo Junkers“ e. V. Core exhibit is a Junkers Ju 52/3m, which was drowned in 1940 in Hartvikvann near Narvik in Norway. In 1986 the plane was recovered and returned to Dessau in 1995. In exchange a MIG-21 PFM had been donated to the Norwegian Aviation Museum in Oslo. Outside of the exhibition hall several other aircraft are on display, among these is an Ilyushin Il-14 airliner from Dresden.
