Wednesday, July 27 2016 at Wittmund Air Base in Northern Germany. Home of Luftwaffe's Taktisches Jagdgeschwader 71 "Richthofen". The base received full wing status again after being associated to Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 31at Nörvenich for some time. The occasion was marked with a special color scheme of Eurofiighter EF2000 30+90, carrying a red tail with grey lettering at its starboard side and a grey tail with red letters on the opposite site. Also present for the photocall was Luftaffe's first and last F-4 Phantom 37+01 (First in - Last out) in it's stunning blue and yellow farewell color scheme.
